Curiosity.. Our undying thirst for knowledge, our need of answers... That is one of the many things that pushes us forward in life.. We are explorers who set out to discover the treasures of the world.. But I'm not talking about the world itself.. Not in this case anyway.. I'm talking about the inhabitants on Earth.. Humans.. They are the greatest mystery ever to be solved.. Their mind, their soul, their secrets.. Secrets.. Now the knowledge that can be carried within someone's Heart, is a priceless treasure.. Why? Because it can be impossible to get close enough to take it in one's hand.. Getting inside someone's Heart is one of the hardest undertakings anyone can ever set out for.. But it is at the same time a journey we all wish to follow through... We can do our best, give it all our efforts, sacrifice tears and blood.. We can put our very soul into it, simply because we need to know this person.. We need to feel who we love, who we trust, who we hate.. But in the end it is never up to us.. You can only come so far before in the end, leaving the fate of your quest, in the hands of your mystery.. It is their Heart, their secrets.. They will decide.. And I don't know about their decisions, maybe they'll let you in and open up.. Or maybe not.. Now here's the thing.. After pursuing your answers for what seems like an eternity.. You might end up holding them in your hand.. Have you found out what you needed to know? Do you understand now? Maybe, what do I know? Unfortunately perhaps the secret that has been hidden away from you, were hidden for a very good reason.. What if you react exactly like you treasure chest feared.. What if your response, justifies the silence that protected the Heart of your riddle..? Have you ever thought about that? While you now have been given answers, new questions are born.. But after the way things have turned out, you won't get anywhere near that Heart ever again.. And that's what we need to remember.. That just because you find the truth, it doesn't necessarily have to be a truth to your satisfaction.. I'm not gonna lie to you.. I'll rather know it all, as long as it doesn't hurt others.. The truth is rarely pure and never simple, this we all know.. But it never seems to stop us.. If I were to Tell you, that I know something of your interest.. Something very important to you.. But it's not a good thing.. In fact, it's quite terrible.. It'll grant you nothing but tears hollow insight.. Just ask me and I will Tell you.. Ask me not, and the truth will stay buried.. What would you do..? I actually think that you'd want to know, rather than not to.. Which is fine, I can relate to that, for so would I.. And even though people rarely say directly to us that they're hiding something, we can sometimes Tell anyway.. Which is more or less the same thing, we know that we do not know.. We just don't know what.. But we do have the intention of finding out... The bottom-line is, that you need to ask yourself what'll come from all this.. You mustn't forget that the truth can become somewhat of an enemy.. Your antagonist.. And while battling for your life, someone else might get caught in the middle.. And then it'll be on your conscience.. Remember that...

how true that is! and perfect timing... at least for me.

what gets to me is when you do ask for the truth but they won't tell you because they don't think it's what you want to hear... if you ask me, i'll tell you... so don't ask a question that you don't want to know the answer to.
